Everyone has pair of pants that are dangerous... You know ones that when you sit down all the stuff falls out of your pockets? I have few of them and won;t get rid of them because I like the fit. Now my lifestyle requires me to roll around the grass with dogs, sit in weird places at different angles, change twice or three times a day and practice my skills in different positions. On multiple occasions I lost half my pocket content. Thank God I have a tendency to run a check on my stuff frequently so I'm always able to trace my steps back and recover my EDC. I wanted to use belt sheats but with Wave and pouch with gloves I would look like poor impersonation of Batman. But it gets a bit annoying to look for your "lost" items so what I decided to do is use one of those Swiss Army wallet/pouch that I had around the house and fit my EDC items there to carry around.

I removed the string/neck belt and carry it either in my back pocket or cargo pocket. It is very small in comparison to Spec Ops Cargo pocket pouch. It fits my large knife (Microtech), Arc 4 flashlight and windmill lighter... I may consider adding other stuff to it later on but so far it fits perfectly. It fits so well and is so comfortable that I even carry it with my good pants.

Does that cool looking Swiss Army thing have a name?

Okay, okay, so I have pouch envy. I admit it. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I've been leaning toward the multiple wallets for gear holders for a while. I just upgraded my key case to a bigger key wallet. It has a small pocket on the outside that I now put my arc AAA and my 128M USB Flash drive in. It has an inner zipper pocket which I put in a watchband compass, a p38 and some band-aids. I have a small knife in the other pocket inside and it has a bill pocket like a normal wallet where I'm starting to put some spare cash. I have my house and vehicle keys in it as well. Then I have my regular wallet with money, cards and spare keys. I'm going to use my old key case for keys for all my tools and gear storage at home.

Eugene,

I was wondering how the "multiple wallets" concept was working for you in practice. If it is working well, what kinds of key cases/wallets you are now carrying? And what have you managed to stuff into them?
