Goal Zero is offering some pretty good deals. I bit on their Lighthouse Mini lantern, usually $60, now $40. I have one already which I used in the field on a recent project and I think it is just the thing for power outages and the like. They state you can charge a cell phone from the battery, although I haven't tried that yet.
