wrist lanyard/water bottle carrier
The right hand image shows the lanyard as designed. I made a extended lanyard/diamond knot and added a sliding solomon bar to tighten the loop around the wrist as desired.
I realized that the bar could slide the other way. I put the loop around the lip of a water bottle and tightened the bar. Holds securely.

nice. I think I've seen a knot that will hold the top of a bottle as well
