I started looking hard at the Spydercos. I think the big hole is a big plus. The thumb ramp looks like it would add a little control, the blade shape looks like it would suit her needs, and she's a chili fanatic. So I'm leaning that way.
Thanks,
Biscuits

Beautiful knife, but I think she'd be upset with me for spending that much $$.
Besides, I get the CR knife in the family.

Biscuits: Sorry for the misdirection, but I don't think the S-2 is still available after all. That may explain the price -- probably a database hicckup. I checked with CRKT and they don't make it any more.

But that got me looking at other monolocks. The Kershaw Vapor is a great value. You can get it for under $30 at WallMart. And the Benchmade Monochrome is under $40 online.

I wouldn't call that misdirection. The knife was definately worth looking at. I believe that the price was a typo, (or in pesos). I'm looking for something pretty specific, with little luck I may add, and I need a few extra eyes to find it. With time at a preimum these days, I'm just happy that you and the others used some of yours to help me out.
Thanks all,
Biscuits
