I don’t know who this person is or his background. Is there a reason to listen to him? I have the Pocket Survival Pack but I don’t have it on me. I carry in my purse and pockets what I need. I do not carry a signal mirror but I do a Fox 40 Classic. I do not carry a compass; I navigate by the sun. I don’t carry water purification items but I do bottled water which I refill. EMT shears does almost everything I need a tool to do. I don’t carry a fishing kit but I do protein bars. First aid is covered, my MAG-LITE doubles as a club and I carry an emergency rain poncho. Have I left anything out? Jeanette Isabelle

I’ve test drived a Victorinox Classic SD. It did not work for me.
Living in the city, I have considered carrying a mask; I have not done so yet.

Army Ranger Rick? It's never classy to run down competing items when you're trying to sell your own.

Izzy...the SOE E&E kits of WWII included hacksaw blades with their escape tool... considering the space they take up, a good addition to any kit http://www.multi-tool.org/ossescapeknifethe blade section, ferro rod, needle, safety pins make a very thin pack
