Glock makes a machine pistol (fully auto) G18... he calls his pistol a G17. which comes from the factory with a connector (disconnector) allowing only one shot to fire with each pull of the trigger... his must have had its fire control group modified to shoot full auto...in the US, full auto and supressed firearms, along with short barreled rifles under 16" and short barreled shotguns under 18" may be owned, but are registered through a lengthy process with the bureau of Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearms (ATF)..and require a special Tax Stamp for each firearm and supressor... different requlation in Europe and other juristictions...

Except for the mentioned model of the pistol it is at least plausible. Lock N´Load with R. Lee Ermey features the Glock 18 in full auto mode in the pistols episode. The girl shooting it has fairly good control over it. The scene is close to the end of the episode.
There must be some tracer ammo for 9mm Luger. A Swiss gun magazine warned against using them in pistols. The higher gas pressure may destroy the gun. That ammo is intended for submachine guns like the UZI.

I am illiterate (and usually uninterested) when it comes to guns. But this gun caught my attention and wanted to confirm if it was real or skilled photoshpping job.

The guy is an actor. He introduces himself as a "professional Russian," and that's a part of his act. He is not actually Russian, nor does he naturally speak with a Russian accent. But, really, he is a "professional Russian" because he's being paid to play one.

Alright, Izzy, you got my interest: where is the video? I searched on Youtube, to no avail.

Just learned that if you pause the video after the truck explodes, and you use your left and right arrow on your keyboard, you can go frame by frame fwd or rev and see how close a foot long piece of jagged metal flies by his arm..it's about 6-8 inches away. Amazing he didn't lose his arm.

Thanks, Izzy. The guy got really lucky. And so did the camcorder. The car door flew between them. He could have died if the trajectory were just a little more to the left.
