I wore out my last pair of Browning-Lowland hunters(re-soled for the 3rd time)&they don't make them anymore.I have Rocky-Chukkas presently,Rubbed down with Mink oil of which are Really well made & Super comfortable out of the box!my back up is a pr of Merrill-Chameleons & an old pr of Redwing 8" hikers,for my outback needs.The Real help comes from my choice of socks,Top-Quality,Merino wool-Ballstons from Nawth Kaolana(NC)I have around 25 pr,at any one time just in case the owner,hands in the towel or somethin'!
