So far, the only vendor that seems to have it is Amazon.com, but they show the Guyot designs 38 oz. SS bottle as being back in stock! The price is a bit high and it's not Prime eligible, but hopefully this means the product will back in the pipeline everywhere soon! I'm itching to pick up a couple but I'll wait and see if they're back or just a batch of NOS turned up.

Does anyone know if these bottles have any sort of lining material/coating?

I bought a Klean Canteen years ago. My big issue with it was its tendency to deform. I once had it in a hot car and the flat bottom became rounded. It also dented in a few places.

Does the Gyuot stainless steel behave the same way?

I have had fewer functional issues with the plastic Nalgenes (although it can't be placed in a fire).

Thanks.

Thanks, Izzy. I forgot that these are steel. I was thinking of an aluminum bottle, like a SIGG.

I didn't notice that McCann has them on his site; he's a great guy to buy from. Right now I also have a coupon for Survival Resources, so I'll have to check there, too.

I have two of the Backpacker versions but I don't like them as much since they won't nest properly with the GSI or other cups made for a regular Nalgene.
