USNERDOC has some great vids. I think he's also selling his kits as well. Really knowledgeable guys, so far as I can tell with my limited skill.

I needed a new FAK this week, to use in my urban-suburban-short hike kit. I didn't even consider this one for that purpose. I debated between the AMK. 7, the AMK. 9 and the Sportsman series. Ended up getting the Field Trauma kit. http://www.redflarekits.com/sp/4020

I ditched it book and tape that comes with it and added a 1 person heatsheet, some more gauze, a maxi pad, bandaids (kids!), a triangular, a squeeze LED, some duct tape and a small bottle of purelle.

This kit would be much better suited to the "medic" title and I only paid $18 for it at Sail Outdoor Store. (Plus the $3.50 for the heatsheet.)
