You must have different vents than we have around here, but the homes around here are also pretty rinky-dink.

One thing that I always think of is fire, when I see those complicated-looking homes with different roof levels... tons of corners for burning embers to settle in.

There's a new home near the freeway that looks like it's made from leftover parts, all dormers and cupolas. It looks like something that would draw fire like a magnet.
