Since July is nearing its end, it's about time I posted our camping pictures form the nice long weekend. We camped from Friday through Monday.

First, the drive in.

On the road in, you can see Mt. Olomana over the treetops

Next, let's get the food out of the way. we always eat good. Here are just a few examples.

We had a birthday. Happy Birthday, Cammie!

First time I made boiled peanuts on a camp fire.

More to follow...

We relaxed.

I set up the kids' "secret" club house...a tarp under a tree. It camouflaged pretty well. You can see the kid, but it's hard to see the tarp.

We even took time out from camp to watch my monkeys last swim class of the summer.

Still more...

The kids played...

The moms had a light saber fight too, but I missed it.

I taught a tai chi class at camp for the first time. One of the moms saw me practicing in the morning and wanted to try. Then more joined in.

We took a hike to the lake.

Saw these old kilns.

It was a very hilly walk, and the little ones did great.

We are almost back. Our camp is across this valley on the next ridge.

Finish it off with some nature shots.

The descending clouds brought rain.

The lake.

Sunset on the Ko'olau's.

Sunrise on part of our camp area. We had a lot of families come and were spread out.

Part of our play ground.

As we were packing up, this guy tried to go home in someone's bag.

PAU. Thanks for looking.
