Some useful stuff that is usually at the bottom of my bag:

- business cards
- Dry erase markers
- fleece scarf
- water bottle
- File of paperwork

I've Noticed the Bottom of the Bag,Usually has The:Best Flavored Chips,Cereal,Peanuts(Cracker Jack),Cracklins',Rotten pistachios/Sunflower Seeds,& Cold Feet!

Black trash barrel liners. Deliberately so. I put them there as a bit of water proofing for those times where I may set my bag on less than dry ground. The trash barrel liners also have 1,000,001 uses (poncho, tube tent, ground cloth, pack cover, etc.).

On a hike plan I left DW last week I included the new 5.5 foot 2 MIL contractor bag I picked up recently in bulk. Wife was stumped on that one until I explained the multi use of the item. Afterwards she said, "Man I thought you guys were just going to drink a lot of beer and you were recycling the cans."
