what is black light used for? I know about crime scenes and Luminol and that scorpions glow under it... but what else can it be used for? My dad just got me a portable arc black light when I was away so I'm kind of curious how can I implement it into my PSK.
They can be very handy to spot repairs/restorations/outright faking in antiques (both ceramics and furniture) and paintings that are invisible to the naked eye.
Use it to check for forged money. US money (>$5.00) have an embedded strip that will fluoresce under UV light. Each denomination has a different color. Pete
Spotting cat urine. If you have an animal who is urinating inside and you want to put enzimes on it, you have to know where they're going. Urine will "glow" under this type of light.
