If you don't mind making your own and cooking on smallish stove for a solo adventure than it would be hard to beat this kitchen set I made one of these and without the fuel it weighs 5 ounces with stove. pot support, cook pot (10 oz vegetable can), bowl, coffee cup, spoon, pot-cozy and wind-screen. I added the pot-cozy and windscreen myself to Brawny's basic kitchen. Other mods to this that I made were to use a small V8 can instead of the normal soda-can for the stove and used a normal soda can for the pot support. The alcohol flame isn't hot enough to melt the soda cans and the 10 oz pot isn't heavy enough to be a problem for the soda-can pot support.

Well, I mainly use my mess tins for boiling water, but I like to leave it open so that I have the ability to use it for other things.
