A while back there was a volcano acting up and a few seismologists pointed out that it would be improbable but there was some chance it could explode or trigger a underwater landslide that could cause a tidal wave. A big problem for populations down the coast as it could scour the coast for hundreds of miles around the basin.

I don't want to be alarmist, and this might not apply in this case, but it is something that bears watching.

An Alaskan earthquake has triggered a pretty good tsunami in California in 1964, as a result of the Anchorage Earthquake.

Here is some info on how it affected the coastline of California, Crescent City being the hardest hit: http://www.drgeorgepc.com/Tsunami1964Calif.html

Here are links to the webcams, so you can watch the eruption live - provided your timing is good.

http://www.avo.alaska.edu/webcam/

The one labeled Redoubt-CI must be the cooks inlet location, and the other one the summit. I guess the other links are other alaska volcanoes under surveilance?

I'm not sure what the cameras are looking at. It should be daylight there now but most of the links just show a black screen. The CI one currently shows some windows of orange. Are the cameras inside the crater?

There's a note on the main site saying traffic is heavy today and a backup server with still images is being used, so maybe that has something to do with it.
