Mine would have to be Snake Pliskin. Some people just have the touch, y'know. A good example of it being better to be lucky than good.
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly is to fill the world with fools.
-- Herbert Spencer, English Philosopher (1820-1903)

....he felt the prompting of his heritage, the desire to possess, the wild danger-love, the thrill of battle, the power to conquer or to die. Jack London

Lassie. She always managed to escape danger and save little Timmy from the old well/abandoned mine/raging floodwaters/forest fire/whatever without even matting her coat. She's one tough [censored]!

I have to go with Truckergut. Lazarus Long and Louis Wu were both very long term survivors.

Does Forest Gump count as a survival character? Love that character. Regardless of his situation he makes it through it.
Don't just survive. Thrive.
