Looks good, I will go analyze it one by one later!

Have you carried the pack any distance?

your good to go..just two things--hide the fubar tool and tie in the bottle..if you have to move in a crowd the tool is asking to be grabbed and it gives you away as someone with stuff worth the hassle to steal from.the bottle is just a "water bottle" but it could fall out.

I'm an experienced backpacker. This pack is roughly "daypack" sized (about 2600c.i.) but it has a real load bearing frame and hipbelt, designed for heavy loads. If I have to do any long distance hoofing, some stuff, like the Fubar, hard hat, etc. will likely get left behind, depending on circumstances.

No idea. I'll weigh it again when I get done monkeying around with it for a while, I'd guess about 30 lbs, which is less than I'd normally carry while backpacking.

pocketknife (various), Fenix AAA, pistol, bandanna, and ferro rod, micro-pen and fresnel in wallet, along with local, state and federal badges.

FUBAR = heavy alone! I can't imagine needing that to huff it around.

I've used a FUBAR and a hammer A LOT during demo of my my house and the fubar may be better in a couple circumstances but not better enough to warrant carrying it over a fiberglass hammer that weighs 1/2 as much or less.

wink

Oh, I don't plan on toting it anywhere. But I've found it to be handy as a light rescue tool. It'll be staying in the car, along with a few other items, if I don't need it initially.
