If cities offer the best of things, they also seem to foster the worst of things.

For me pollution and rudeness seem most intrusive, perhaps because crime has not been a big factor in my urban experience.

What do you think is the urban worst ?

In L.A., the smog and the traffic makes me hate the place. What's deceiving is that TV and movies always show L.A. to have perfectly clear skies and a nice view. I have never seen L.A. look how they portray it. The land of make-believe has the worst smog of any U.S. city.

Having to come home to our urban existence always causes me pain. Today was a very good and timely example...

That would be Superior California.

I prefer to see Los Angeles at 3-4 AM because the traffic is usually light and I can move straight through unimpeded.
