Meteorologists really can't predict weather very well two weeks ahead. They're lucky to get the next three days right. Or almost right.

That's because it is based upon a precise(?) mathematical equation developed by Astronomers. Metereology has way to many variables.

Actually, at least in my neck of the woods, the forecast is pretty darn accurate. When there is a variance, it is usually about the timing of the event, not its nature or severity.

There has been an enormous improvement in weather forecasting over my lifetime...
