There is a group of aviators who previously banded together to do the "100 planes across Canada" event a few years ago, choose to make their remote trip to Yellowknife, North-West Territories, Canada this year. Anyone can join in and make history. My brother's fishing lodge is about 15 min. north of Yellowknife so he is stoked to hear about this venture. The organiser - John Lovelace has previously been a host of "Wings Over Canada" where he flys into various locations across the country and during one episode (s9 ep3) he flew up to my brother's fishing lodge and filmed a complete episode on the experience.

I have have had the opportunity to meet and talk with John Lovelace a couple of times while he was host of "Wings Over Canada." Very approachable, personable and likable man who could seemingly talk for hours on flying and his almost 200 trips to some of the best wilderness areas in Canada. I had previously seen almost every episode of "Wings over Canada" of which, I have since purchased the entire series a few years ago.
