A friend of mine was visiting from the mainland and did our customary outing...sushi for lunch and some place outside for tai chi. I usually try to take him (and some times, but not this time, his fiancee) to some place natural and scenic.

So we eat! Thanks Charles for lunch.

And we go. I didn't ask him if I could post his pictures so I am not. But I help him into different movements so he can get action shots to send home (and post on Facebook for all his friends to see). Then we do some tai chi.

Here are some scenic pictures.

You can barely see the mongoose even though it was a big one. Extreme zoom and going from super bright sunlight to deep shadow doesn't help.

Charles liked this one. He said it looked like a scorpion, but I don't see it.

These old trees gave great shade. I was very thankful as it was quite hot out.

The stream with a waterfall in the distance.

Upstream of the waterfall.

My sword resting.

As we were walking out, a lady we passed stopped to tell me, "You have a nice sword.". All I could say was, "Thanks. I love it when a lady tells me that."
