Weekend fun is a memory, forum traffic is low, and the pile on my desk seems to have bred like tribbles. Arrgh!!!

You're right!! I'm sitting out bad wx in Corpus Christi Harbor with only the Forum for company.

At least we will be able to sail tomorrow morning.

At least my "Voyage from Hell" has officially ended.

I had one of those. It was a Carnival Cruise up the inside passage for 7 days. Unfortunately, our departure date was 9/12/01. Go figure.

Free advice: Never book a cruise on Carnival. Anything goes wrong, you are screwed. All the other cruise lines took care of their passengers, Carnival left us standing on the dock for 4 days at our cost, then took us on a 2 day cruise up to Glacier Bay and back. No refund, no concession. Worthless.

Mondays will continue to suck 'til you retire, then they are just another day in Paradise.

Re cruising, next time try Norwegian Cruise Lines, you will love them. We did the Inside Passage with them a few years ago, taking a longer one this Sep (Seattle to Miami). And get travel insurance, that will save you if something/anything bad happens...

Mondays suck when you're self employed and the economy is kicking your backside... I wish I could just leave "The Office" and practice some bushcraft skills, but I have to be at the computer ready to respond to clients that prefer email, just in case. Sure, I can get email on my phone, but then I have to get back to the house to work.

Anyway, I agree. Mondays suck.

I actually like most Mondays!

My schedule at work is set so that I get every Monday OFF, so Monday is like Saturday to me.

I also usually have the house to myself therefore I can get lots of work done, or not.

This Monday did not start so well; heavy freezing rain this morning made the roads very slick, school was cancelled so my 3 kids are home and I spent an hour in the dentist chair getting the prep-work done for a crown, half my face is still frozen.

But normally Mondays are great.

I worked goofy shifts for 35 or so years, after a while I got to the point that, for me, my first day back from days off was my Monday, no matter what day of the week it actually was...

I think I looked at my outside temperature more than the road driving to work today, seeing 55 there for the first time in months made me not want to go to work.
Had to order a drive this morning, the old 60G in the USB case that I dump weekly backups to died when I plugged it in last night. so now I'm putting a 160g in my laptop and the 120 in it now will go in the external case.

wildman800, I hope you get a plate glass sea on your way out of Corpus Christi.

If you are moving a tow, it's no fun in slop. I'd rather be on a ship in a forty-foot sea than have a tug and barge in six feet.

Otherwise, Mondays suck like ticks.
