Madison Twp. Man Uses Pocket Knife To Dig Himself Out Of Disaster

Quote:
A Tri-state man is now safe after using a pocket knife to literally dig himself out of a disaster.

The 83-year-old Madison Township man says he was on his tractor outside his Keister Road home when the tractor flipped and he was trapped.

Lord knows my pocketknife has come in handy, but not that handy (yet… knock on wood…)!

He's from The Old School and probably has carried a pocket knife since he was six.

And being shot with good luck didn't hurt, either.

At least he didn't just lay there and wait for someone else to do something. I guess Someone intended for him to see a few more great-great-grandchildren.

I had to wait until I was 9 smile

I got both of my nephews fixed blades when they were 10. They can't carry them though so next time I'm home they'll both be getting slipjoint folders (prolly Case Stockman'), I'll get one for my niece too. Everybody should have an EDC knife.

Must be the "GI Shovel" attatchment that comes standard in many high-quality pocket knives wink
