As I lost my mini RSK, I have to order a new one.
I will use the opportunity to order some other goodies ( eQ multilight, a.s.o.)

I'm also looking at Tuf-Cloth : for cleaning/protecting knives blades and guns
Has anybody use them ?
Are they worth their claims ? Do they last long ? how long ?

Thanks for any info.

Hi Frenchy,
I am certainly not an expert on Tuf Cloth, but I have used it on my knives and like it. It is important to put it back in its foil package, and I think it will last a good long time. Hope that helps.

Thanks for replying.
I guess if Doug endorses it, it must be OK to use it.
I was wondering about the life time of the cloth ; to decide if I need to buy a bunch of them or only one or two.

According to their website, you can restore the cloth, by using mineral spirits, or tuf glide.

I've used a TufCloth for years, & also refreshed it with TufGlide. It's served me well. My knives have survived repeated immersion in the ocean & delayed cleanup (when on vacation) with no problems.

I've been using it for a while now; Doug recommended it (as well as Militec-1 dry lubricant) for the proper care and feeding of my Benchmade Mini-Griptilian a year or two ago here on the forums.

So far, so good. No complaints, and I've taken to using it on all my other knives and multi-tools.

If you do get some Militec-1, beware that the small 1.0 fl.oz. bottle will last a VERY long time.

Before all of this I was a happy-go-lucky WD40 user. Ignorance is bliss. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I already dealed with them and they are great to shop with, indeed.
