Got a Lowe Alpine fanny pack the other day from the clearance table at Sports Authority for $20.

Seems pretty well made. With compression straps tightened down, it's smaller than a brief case, yet has room for 2 half-liter bottles in the end pouches. It's going behind the driver seat in my truck.

Stocked it with:
-- Leatherman Pulse.
--SOG Field Pup fixed blade.
--Buck 186 folder with pocket clip
--diamond rod sharpener
--Leather gloves
--Garmin Etrex GPS
--MagLite AA.
--Ritter PSK
--Mini bic and a match safe with matches & striker.
--Pottable Aqua.
--AMK Ultralight .5
--Couple flat N95 masks
--space blanket and two 3-mil contractor grabage bags
--bandanna
--roll of campers toliet paper.
--some cordage
--sharpie, pencil, small notebook.
--half-liter Nalgene bottles on each end pouch
--Still got room for a lite jacket.

I gotta quit hangin' out here. Every time I go shopping, I'm looking for gear I can adapt to preparedness use. Now have EDC pouch of goodies in my daily carry bag, the house/BoB, the main truck bag (in rear of toppered truck in Contico box) and my truck "behind the seat bag."

Sheesh.
