As a new Webelos den leader this year, my meeting tonight dealt with the Forester and Naturalist achievements. I got some examples of leaves and bark from neighborhood trees, glued them to a presentation foam core board, and after some VERY quick study, helped to identify the trees with the kids. With that being said, does anyone have, or can you recommend, any android apps that might help me with the boys in the future? We're having our halloween campout, called Camp Spooklawaha, in a few weeks and I don't want to take my tree book with me if I don't have to. I also don't want to spend $20 for an app...if it's free it's for me. I also have an Android tablet, but that ain't goin' camping either, but an ebook would fit the bill nicely if available. Thanks for any input.
