Thanks for the link. Getting that survival kit, just even for the sake of reviewing it, would be pretty cool. Even if its components are crap, at least its free crap. If some or all of the components are worth-while, even better… free non-crap.

The “I Am Legend” movie also looks pretty cool. Though I have liked every movie Will Smith has been in, so that may be affecting my judgement somewhat.

When I was 11 or 12 years old I won $100 from a Capt Crunch contest. When I was 18 I won $5 the first time I ever played the lottery. And when I was in my 20's I won $200 at bingo.

Been on a dry spell for the last 15 years or so...

We had a discussion about the Survival Kit earlier, and I think the consensus was "The wings of Life Backpack looks interesting". All we could ever find about the contents, if I remember correctly, was a contents list on the LifeGear Site. There weren't any brand names and such to help determine if it was a cost effective kit, or a way to start one, etc.

Regarding the similarity to this movie and the Chuck Heston classic, that's because it is a remake of the Omega Man. I'm psyched!

I won a $25 gift certificate last year at the Neighborhood Christmas Party, but before and since it's been nothing. It was cool though. I was broke, and my niece got the Easy Bake Oven she wanted. And then it was recalled due to kiddies getting their fingers caught and burnt... I couldn't believe it... Worst present ever... Here you go... Give me that back... Doh!

Check out Itunes or Audible, you can get the book I Am Legend. The book was pretty good and the movie is "Loosely" based on. Looks good to me though.
