Thanks Pete! In a world where a ever increasing percentile of us go to sleep hungry, ill clothed and subject to the ravages of disease the idea of promoting barefoot hiking as some John Muir version of New Age firewalking was just to much today.

Okay so the leading cause is an eye infection and the second leading cause is an African insect (fly). What did this has to do with barefoot hiking? I must have missed something.
