that doesnt really look like a good "get out of town" vehicle. it's just a truck with 2 M2 BMG's mounted on the back. Who needs 50's ? to heavy and MG's sprayes ammo,so to expenisive ! doesnt .50 ammo cost horrible much ?
im not a fan of firearms mounted in such a fasion, but if that dude wants MG's on the back, just take a 5.56 or 7.62 MG. cheaper ammo and lighter 2 !
A semi-auto rifle would be much beter and has more versiabilitie

If your purpose is to get out of town and eliminate any vehicle in your way short of heavy armor the dual 50 cal is the weapon of choice no question.

Impractical yes
Expensive yes
Ilegal yes
Heavy yes

Highly effective YES

Somewhere in G.B. is the last registered 1100cc Mini Cooper S. I acquired this right hand drive example long enough to realize I could get killed in it, having driven the thing UNDER a jacknifing 18 wheeler's trailer "at speed" vs. going over the side or impacting something very big. I submit this vehicle, outifitted with the Greener Martini action harpoon gun I acquired in a dark Alaskan bar

As an "european" member it looks for me like a bad movie.
Who is your enemy?
I thought the cold war is over.
Where in history has somebody need such a car?
I like Michael Moors Movie "Bowling for Columbine". Know I know why

But please, take it easy...

It's pretty tough to beat a Jeep CJ/YJ/TJ. In stock form, the Wrangler Rubicon is one awesome machine, but if you have the time, money, and wrench skills, you can build yourself something even better, or order yourself a stretched TJ from American Expedition Vehicles.

I'd dearly love to have a Wrangler Rubicon stretched by AEV to a 112" wheelbase with a few well-chosen extras, but I should probably put the money into my homestead...

As for the picture, I'd redesign the lift mechanism. It looks like it would be impossible to shoot forward as it is, which would be much more important, I would think...
