This is the first year I've seen it more than a very slight trickle. This year it's pretty much a full-on creek

My pond as you can see filled up with run off silt, (and water, ha) it wasn't done, but now I have to remove even more dirt

The deep hole that's green is one I dug about 8' with the backhoe for fun. At the 4' depth I hit some ground water and it rushed in very fast.

All around the pond ground water is coming in from the mountains that surround it too.

Should be a great pond once I get it deeper and down to the clay hard pack.

The pond has no dam, and will never have a dam.
