The European Space Agency has selected targets for the first asteroid-deflecting mission to noticably change the orbit of a near-Earth object.

This is one disaster where my EDC might not help a whole lot. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> But I'm not drawing much comfort from the name of the mission: Don Quijote. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> (And let's hope they don't knock it into Brooklyn.)
