Can anyone share some reliable online (or offline) sources for MIL-SPEC 550 parachute cord? I'm looking for the stuff with 7 inner strands. <br><br>Apparently www.actiongear.com has some (search for "550 Survival Cord"), but it says nothing about being "MIL-SPEC". Does 7 internal strands = MIL-SPEC?<br><br>The one place I found a while back with real MIL-SPEC numbers in their catalog (www.ammil.com) seems to have gone out of business, or at least their website is down. I think they only sold in 1000 yd spools, too much for me.
