I did a quick search and didn't find a thread already on this mouth-watering gadget, so I'll just leave it here...

There are plenty of rescue shears with the same features, except for the folding part.

I actually think the folding part will be annoying. Instead of just grabbing the shears and it's ready, you need to unfold it.

Good tool, most likely for a full time first responder, but a tad expensive for the rest of us. I carry the usual cheap medical shears and a Leatherman Z-Rex, which will do many of the same tasks, but for a much cheaper price.

It's a cool idea, but on further consideration, I'd rather just buy a new cheapo set of trauma shears than have to clean a strangers blood out of my expensive Leatherman ones. Just my .02

A gadget I don't need. I would get a $5 pair of trauma shears if I needed something like this.

"The square cutout fits a standard oxygen tank valve, which controls the amount of airflow a patient receives."
No, it opens and closes the valve. A regulator controls the amount of oxygen the patient receives.

I think it would fit will for personal FAK, saves a little space folding up. It seems though that most Leatherman tools get discontinued by the time I get around to buying one. I was gong to buy their garden shears a couple summers ago.

I'm a sucker for almost anything Leatherman, but these are way too expensive for the amount of room saved in an IFAK or similar kit.

Prestige, Claus and PhysiciansCare offer some pretty nice Trauma Shears. All are available on Amazon for $9-$12. The regular and even less expensive $3 Made-in-Pakistan shears are very serviceable. The LM Raptors would go into my collectible, never use drawer if I was collecting trauma shears -- not going to happen.
