I thought this was interesting. These type products could potentially make cheap jackets and outerwear work as well as very expensive, top-of-the-line GoreTex, etc.. Especially the Neverwet, very cool video.

Who says these cutting edge technologies will be cheap, at least initially? Usually innovations begin at the high end and eventually work down to the big box outlets.

Agree that these look very promising. Just don't hold your breath......
