I recently purchased a new pocket folder for EDC. After extensive searching, and playing around with several different models over the past few months, I finally settled on the Zero Tolerance 0350 pocket folder.
First thing about the knife; this knife is BEEFY. I first was introduced to these from my brother, who has had one for a couple of years. I have to say, this is the most comfortable folder I have ever owned. The steel is s30v, I got the combo blade (it also comes with just a plain edge). The coating is flawless. The handle is some sort of polymer (I dont have the specs in front of me), layered over metal, with steel liners. There are ridges machined into the body, both where the thumb rests, as well as on the pommel. It is an assisted opening knife-there is a little finger catch on the back of the blade. A little pressure on it, and it springs right open-perfect for one handed use. And, there are thumb studs as well. It is a liner lock, that appears bombproof, and, according to my brother, and his buddies that use it, it is. The clip on it can be positioned 4 different ways, or simply removed. The handle is a full handle, complete with a chortle (the opening protrusion acts as the chortle once the blade is opened). All in all, this is a tough, well-built knife. It was designed for military use, and the model comes in several sizes. There is an 0300 model, that has a full size blade, but isn’t that great for sticking in a pocket. They also make fixed blade knives, but that wasn’t what I was in the market for. This blade should be with me, provided I don’t lose it, for years to come. I plan on running it through its paces over the course of the next year or so, but, honestly, I highly doubt I will harm this thing. It is built that tough. Several folks who recommended this are FAR more abusive to their gear than I am, and THEY swear by these-and, as far as I was concerned, that was good enough for me!
I found it online for less than $100-it normally retails for about $130 or so. The blade is about 3" long-making this an easy knife to use overall. If you are looking for a beefy, full sized folder, I HIGHLY recommend their knives.

That looks M1 Abrams tough. Hope to hear more about it as the year goes by.

Niiiice. Don't mess with anything called "Zero Tolerance"!

I know you said it's a 3", and maybe it's the height of the blade that is playing tricks with my eyes, but it looks quite stubby. And that clip looks awfully short. Still, I imagine that the clip should fit completely over a standard 1" belt fine.

The blade does look rather stubby-I think its mainly a trick of the eye, due to the handle actually being full length. The clip I thought the exact same thing-but, this thing is tight-so much so, that I actually had to bend it back a little, to get it to clip onto my pocket. It IS a shorter than normal clip though. But, if the screws are tight, this thing isnt going anywhere. I just measured it with my LEatherman, and the usable part of the clip is 1.5".
Mark-I have no doubts this will stand some serious abuse. When I hold it, it has the heft of a true fixed blade. This thing certainly isnt lightweight, and isnt designed to be so. It was built with abuse in mind-and, within limits, I want to try it out. I have no qualms batoning this thing-it likely wont even scratch it!

Zero Tolerance is like Kershaw's "hard use" line. I don't own any, but my friends that do love them. Go put it through its paces and let us know what you think. smile

ZT-350 at New Graham. It does appear to have a wide cord.

I have a Buck knife with a similar beefy blade. It also has a can/bottle opener and a cork screw. I have to have a cork screw on my survival knife so I can open the wine.
