If you are like me, you have stored matches and other misc. small items in small zip lok bags or vials. another lightweight solution to rid the mess of scattered items is GLAD Press & Seal. it works great and is waterproof. Another tip to reduce size for PSKs is to use tungsten sinkers instead of lead, and they're safer for use! these are a couple of tips i thought i would like to share!

before you set up your kit test Press and Seal and see how it works for you.a canoe buddy put his lunch items in that and by day three he was holding up unsealed packs of hard crackers and cheese with some unkind words for the Glad people.maybe he did not seal them right or they got bashed around in the packs.try anything first before you depend on.

thanks for the heads up. although i personally have never used press & seal for food products, i have seen it used for keeping gear dry. pretty good results. water pressure popped the seal for 1 lb. of lead sinkers though. (tested in a pool, not natural lake)

Water pressure seems less likely to break open the seal if you make a point of squeezing out all the excess air that you can. I rolled some wooden matches in the stuff and folded the ends over, then pinned them at the bottom of a bowl of water with a rock overnight. They were fine the next morning.
