Two things for you guys. I ordered and recieved a squeeze bottle of Waterjel with lydocaine that at 4"x3" is just too large for what I want in my BOB Fak. I would like to repack in a smaller squeeze container but am at a loss except for the old drinking straw sealed at both ends. Some how that just doesn't seem to be the answer. Anyone with suggestions?
Secondly is a heads up to a product I found in a CVS pharmacy. It is a spray pen that contains alcohol for hand sanatizing. When empty the top unscrews and can be refilled. I plan on having several individually containing peroxide, Benadryl spray and the original alcohol. Proper labeling is a must of course. Any suggestions on other watery liquids that would be handy in a small sprayable amount in a BOB? Here is a link to a similar product but alas it does not seem to be refillable. http://www.epromos.com/product/8819935.html
Lastly, is there any downside to to these two items. I'm here to learn.

I have some small saline bottles that have a removable tip, they are sold by Baush & Lomb. You can get them in 2oz and 4oz sizes. The sterile saline can be poured out and they can be refilled by removing the dropper insert that is in the top.

It would probably be easier to just get the Burn Jel single pack, rather then repack and risk bacterial growth.

I would agree with Redflare. Burns can be very susceptible to infection and transferring the WaterJel to another container introduces a level of contamination risk that wasn't there before. Besides, the manufacturer makes no claim about the quality of the product once it has been opened. So, once you break that seal, it could start to evaporate, might get contaminated, might start to break down faster than intended, etc. If I remember correctly, WaterJel does have an expiration date, but that only applies to unopened containers. WaterJel does have some Tea Tree extract as an anti-bacterial agent, but I'm not 100% confident that it would eliminate contamination risk. Granted, it's a small risk and I'm probably sounding a bit paranoid, but you can completely avoid it by only using factory-packaged sizes.

If you want WaterJel in a small package, I think Redflare's suggestion is the best and safest one. That's not to say that repackaging it might not also turn out fine, it's just not the best option, in my opinion. Anyway, just some food for thought.
