For those of you wondering why ETS is experiencing less than stellar performance (I'm sure Chris and Doug already know this based on link traffic) - www.digg.com had a front page story posted:

This site drives massive amounts of traffic and I'm sure that the server and it's pipe have been overloaded. Things should return to normal within a day or so.

Anyway, we may have more visitors and hopefully some new members because of it (I didn't post this to digg.... just FYI). Let's welcome them and hopefully they respect the site and don't troll.

On a side note... Ummm. While this was going on, did anyone notice a bunch of smiley faces on the front page or was that some kind of crazy loading problem I was having due to the slowness?

I had a smiley icon for a second logging in last night, but it went away after a second.
