How about this for your EDC stuff? I am thinking of getting one. $30 (single)

I use the Amphipod Satellite, with the logo piece carefully cut off. It is very muted, convenient, and most people assume that it's a carrier for some electronic doohicky or another. I even wear it with my suit, though usually I'll move it to a front pocket for that.

My roommate carries a black dyed USGI first aid pouch every day, and everyone seems to think it's a cellphone rather than a bunch of tools.

It looks kind of big. It looks like a black powder shooter's possibilities bag.

Love the real leather. Easier time finding shoes that match. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Nice looking pouch - nice find ! A sunglass case is smaller - but that's what I use ...

I think it totally depends on your personal sense of style, dress code at work/school, and how convenient it is.

Personally, I even find carrying my LM Wave and cell phone a bit obtrusive on the belt in most urban situations because it looks bulky and breaks the line of any suits or fitted clothing. Plus, it's just generally more acceptable to carry a briefcase or purse. If you really need to attach something that large (and potentially awkward) to your person for EDC, I'd say go with a sling pack or some other easily detached item.... Also, any hi-tech looking pouch is probably more acceptable in most urban situations.

Still - to each his/her own! :-) It looks nicely designed and well built if not really my taste.

Don't forget color coordination. A mauve shirt could clash with your web gear & camo trousers. Also, don't forget the gold chain to complete your outfit.

(no offense intended. not a jab at anyone in particular)

I'm right there with you... The only thing I seem comfortable carrying on my person is a cell phone, on my belt, and that's only when i'm in transit (I don't keep the phone on my belt during the day).

I have a Fenix L0P, Fox40 micro, Vic Manager and keys on a keyring, that goes in my pocket.

Everything else goes in my messenger bag.
