I am new to this site but not to the subjects (25 years). I currently live in NE Fl. Having survived three hurricane hits and watched 12 tornadoes go by, my PSK has changed drastically, again and again and again ....... I also have ocassion to be in areas that would be prime subjects for 911 type hits. How about some discussion on kits aimed at those subjects. Oh, I sold my doney cart so make them portable (had to eat the donkey, no MRE's in kit).

Welcome to the site, you will find that it is full of knowledgable people, lots of viewpoints on any topic.
I would suggest that you use the search function for previous discussions on kits for just such areas and occaisions.
There is an incredible amount of information in old threads.
If you have already read through this, my apologies.
Joey

LOL I imagine Donkey is tuff meat. Probably lean though if you worked him hard before you ate him. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Welcome to the forum!

I have ETS et as my home page. I spend at least four hours a day in here poking around looking for info. Everytime I see a new post it is like Xmas all over again.

When you use the search page, be sure to set how far back you want the search to go. The default is newer than 1 week.

Don't know which thread this should tie to so I'll put it here.
I needed light weight bobbers for a fishing kit. No matter how I cut the styrofoam ones they didn't fit. I am now using foam ear plugs in the fishing kits. The orange ones are easy to see and I can cut them for what ever weight I need. In Florida fishing kits are entertainment as well food source. Comments?

Ear plugs sound very resourceful to me, great idea!
No pun intended.

The ear plugs sound like a great space saving idea and I can't wait to try them out. I'll be picking up a pack later today - now to find a time to try them!
