Interesting and informative article.<br><br>>>15. Anything can be made with duct tape, knife, pliers, clothes hanger wire.<<<br><br>This "lesson learned" struck me as interesting. It illustrates the potential usefulness of a Leatherman-type multi-purpose tool (and some basic supplies). Particularly in a disaster situation.<br><br><br>

Sorry if my post was vague. The article is on the Equipped to Survive main page, it's title is "An MD's Report from Ground Zero" and the link is http://www.equipped.org/groundzero.htm.<br><br>The article contained no specific examples of the uses of the items mentioned, but one gets a sense from the article (along with some imagination) how useful they could have been in the situation described. Excellent reading.
