Have any of you received your replacement Mk5 sheath?

CRKT e-mailed me on September 21st saying they'd send me two sheaths within 30 days. Its November 22nd and they've still not arrived.

I'm wondering if this issue was larger than they thought it would be and thus they are swamped.

The new sheaths shipped today from the factory, so CRKT hopes to start shipping to customers who reported bad sheaths after Thanksgiving weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed that these new production sheaths work as well as the pre-production I approved. They should handily pass the soda can test.

By the way, I've said it before and in the spirit of the holiday season I'll say again ...

The subject matter of this site makes it a great target for folks with fairly extreme social and political views. Its with no small effort on the part of Doug and our respected moderators that this forum has remained on-topic and cordial - for many MANY years. For that I say thanks to all of you - Doug, moderators, and participants.

A big holiday shout out to OBG (he's listening, I'm sure) and Chris Kavanaugh (we continue to hope all is well with him).

Great to hear; thanks for the update. I had given up on getting the promised replacement even though I had received a positive email response from the company.
