Has anyone seen this bag in person? If so, how do you like it?

I am looking for a bag to carry to work (inside business enviro) and this looked good. Not to huge but big enough for me hold my "Get Home" items.

Could not find too many reviews on it.

Thanks

Not bad, but why not use a briefcase/laptop bag or messanger bag depending on your age/occupation/enviorment?

TRO

Many people have some 'leave at the office' and additional 'leave in the car' gear to supplement

I agree. A camera bag, like those used by professional photographers, is another alternative. Some are even waterproof. They're available in differing sizes, both new and in good used condition on eBay and similar sites.

I have this bag in the sage green and carry it every day. It's not a briefcase and will not carry anything but the smallest laptops. But it serves well as my EDC bag. I found it well worth the money.

Ok, I will look for something like a messenger bag. It can carry my mail back and forth to the office and hold enough supplies to get me home by foot (12 miles)

Another good thing about messenger bags is that they don't look so para-military. The gray man does not want to be noticed, but the Gen 5 is just screaming "I got stuff".

The thing I don't like about it is that it is so open. If it's pouring down rain all your stuff in those side pockets will be wet. Plus if you fall down there is a good chance some of that stuff is going to get knocked out. My EDC backpack has zippers on all the pockets. Fairly waterproof already, but I've been thinking about scotchguarding it for further water resistance.

Got mine at Wally World for $28 and it is very comfortable & can carry 30 - 40 lbs of stuff very easily.

I have one and while it is a handy bag to pack up my gear, I do have two complaints.

1. The elastic cord wore out, but was easily replaced.
2. Plastic hardware, particularly on the shoulder strap ends and the corresponding d-rings on the bag itself. They're reasonably well constructed, but it wouldn't take a whole lot to break one if the bag got caught on something. I would have preferred metal hardware.
