Wondering if there is a preference out there and comments regarding the Cinch Tight Bandage vs the Emergency Bandage.

both are just about the same bandage.....the cinch-tight made in the U.S.A and the emergency bandage made in ISRAEL.....thats about the only real differance thier is....right now i carry the cinch -tight bandage due to the fact that its the only bandage my local medical supply carrys....both types are a vast improvement over the old style "field dressings" issued in the army.......vince g . 11b infantry ( former)

They both work on the same principle, and both have been well-received by field providers. I have some of each type.

There is 1 difference, though: the CinchTight is now available in a flat packed format. This makes it very easy to store them in shallow pockets (of your pants, backpack or med kit) where the bulkier rolled format would be a hassle. IIRC this flatpack version is not mentioned on their website.

Buyer beware with Botac/Botach. They have a horrible reputation on most of the forums.

Botach is an interesting place. I have never ever had a problem with them. I just ordered 20 C-123 batteries from them for $19.95 plus shipping, got them in three days.

On the other hand, a friend of mine ordered the same thing from them years ago, got billed, but never got the batteries.

Luck of the draw I guess...
