John, I have the forest knife. The A1 is a bit large for my taste, but a well balanced unit. Falkniven has recently introduced the A2 with a laminated blade. Falkniven offers different sheaths and the satin steel or black finish. The Moran or convex edge scared me at first. Once you actually have to sharpen a Falkniven it is not that difficult. Peter, the CEO will answer any questions you may have personally. These are sharp knives that are also pry bars. I broke the tack welds on a wrought iron fence ( legit emergency). I believe the falks tested @ approx. 427 lbs side force to snap vs. 250 for some similar choppers of like size. Lastly, there are a few good online dealers who offer significant discounts. I think you will like any model ;O)
