I found and bought a "Bison" style capsule today - now I've got to figure out what I want to carry in it. I've tried a $10 bill, and I like the idea of the water purification tablets in a silicone-capped straw. And I already have a Spyderco Ladybug, SAKnife (Signature w pen), lighter (mini Bic - tried the Pocket Cricket, but found it too flimsy and too small actual fuel tank), compass, Mini-Fox whistle, and Photon II on my keychain.

Any suggestions for other items to carry in the capsule would be most welcome!

(P.S.: I can't seem to get even a small tarp in there!?! )

Matches, sparklite, tinder in one.
If you are chained to a specific med i.e. nitroglycerine carry it.

I'm currently looking for a way to carry Potable Aqua in one capsule.

I do a lot of international travel and find a social-security card and photo-copy of my Drivers License to be a life-saver in case I get mugged.

As far as extra cash try folding the bills in half and then rolling them up. In one such kit I was able to fit 10 Dimes, Emergency data card, ssn card, D.L. copy, 10 twenties, and spark-lite with 5 tinders into one capsule. I had to give it up though because the attachement ring wasn't very secure.

On the note of Key Chains I am redoing mine completely and I am trying to figure a way to wrap a BCB wire saw so that it will function as one ring with several smaller split rings attached with other survival gear. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Mine is 2" long with an inside diameter of about 1/2" (now I'm really starting to feel inadequate...), but I wouldn't want to carry anything much bigger.
