Which one do you prefer and why even if they are probably of equal quality, sometimes there can be a subtle difference.

Primus Firesteel from MEC

Thanks
Frankie

I am pretty sure they are the same thing; so is the Kershaw firesteel.

the ferrosium of the primus mode is made harder, so it is harder to throw larger sparks. Go for the light-mine-fire, which is softer. Or better yet the fireflash brand, which is even softer and will throw large fat sparks more easily.

They sell the scout model at Canadian Tire. I'd like to get the army model. The scout model is 3 dollars more expensive then the Primus one. I'll go with Light-My-Fire, it seems to be better. Thank you.
