Greater Montreal area confirms measles outbreak

Should I get inoculated? I was just born in 1972. Although measles is not always fatal it can lead to nasty complications it seems. But I just talked to a holocaust survivor woman at the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Center who survived one year in concentration camps and got the measles during one week without ever going to the sick bay (because nobody came back from the sick bay of course) yet survived. At any rate, what should I do about it?
