Dear Fellow Forum Members,

This is just my humble opinion-

I would request that perhaps a rereading of the Forum Rules and Courtesies by all, might be in order. While I realize this is the Campfire Forum and greater latitude is afforded in disusing various topics and issues, we must remain mindful that many individuals with varying backgrounds and perspectives view this site. From my viewpoint, this site serves to provide useful information on survival with respect to rescue, disaster preparation and some long-term disaster-survival strategies. The forums, allow us members to share ideas, resources and related information.

I humbly believe and ask we avoid, at all costs, the potential impression that the ETS site and the forum members are possibly extremists/“survivalists” or might be construed as having hidden agendas. Our political and social views might be better served on other sites and forums. We owe it to Doug, not to provide any potentially negative images of this site and forums to visitors.

I've had several PMs about this issue. I've been recovering from two very stupid injuries and havn't been on as much as usual. But I am watching. People, We have a forum policy and periodic reminders to 'read the instructions' become wearisome. I figure if anyone 'doesn't get it' by now they will simply disappear like a body count extra in a Swarzennegger movie.

Then I guess the "body count"will be me.....

So you start up a political rant instead.

There are lots of survival related forums that parallel EST that have a political arena. I suggest you find some and take the subjet there.
