It would probably be easier to just get the Burn Jel single pack, rather then repack and risk bacterial growth.
I would agree with Redflare. Burns can be very susceptible to infection and transferring the WaterJel to another container introduces a level of contamination risk that wasn't there before. Besides, the manufacturer makes no claim about the quality of the product once it has been opened. So, once you break that seal, it could start to evaporate, might get contaminated, might start to break down faster than intended, etc. If I remember correctly, WaterJel does have an expiration date, but that only applies to
unopened containers. WaterJel does have some Tea Tree extract as an anti-bacterial agent, but I'm not 100% confident that it would eliminate contamination risk. Granted, it's a small risk and I'm probably sounding a bit paranoid, but you can completely avoid it by only using factory-packaged sizes.
If you want WaterJel in a small package, I think Redflare's suggestion is the
best and
safest one. That's not to say that repackaging it might not also turn out fine, it's just not the best option, in my opinion. Anyway, just some food for thought.
